Internship - Art Teacher/Art Instructor/Art Tutor

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Art Teacher/Art Instructor/Art Tutor to join our dynamic team on a contract basis at our Global Art Taman Setiawangsa location in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young minds through the power of art. As an Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping the artistic development of our students and contributing to the overall success of our art education programs.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging and age-appropriate art lessons and workshops for primary school students.
• Providing individualised guidance and support to help students develop their artistic skills and creativity.
• Encouraging students to experiment with a variety of art media and techniques, fostering their love for the arts.
• Collaborating with the wider team to plan and organise art-related events, exhibitions, and competitions.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

What we're looking for

• Passion for art and a genuine interest in working with primary school students.
• Basic background in visual arts, with the ability to teach a range of art forms, such as painting, drawing, and sculpture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and abilities.
• Creativity and the ability to develop innovative and engaging art lesson plans.
• Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Relevant educational qualifications or experience in art education or a related field.
