10+ years’ experience in the Construction Sector (of which 5 years should comprise of site supervision experience in HSE management of offshore execution campaign or construction at fabrication yards).
Familiar with Construction Site Safety Standards and other industry standards on personal safety.
Strong experience in establishing and driving site HSE programmes such as Drop Prevention Programmes, Safety Campaigns, Behavioural Based Safety Programmes and Performance & Monitoring programmes.
Experienced in leading several incident investigations and familiar with incident investigation methodologies.
Well versed with local HSE regulatory requirements (e.g. DOSH, DOE, PPGUA) and IOGP standards (IOGP 577, 597, 376 and 459).
Able to lead assurance activities at site e.g. Line of Defence (LOD1), IOGP 577 Site Assessments.
Past experience in supporting offshore campaigns including brownfield campaigns.
Able to communicate confidently and effectively to the working level on safety messages.
Able to influence others through collaboration to implement change (e.g. fabrication contractors).
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in any other local language (e.g. Iban) is an advantage.
