As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of procurement and strategic sourcing activities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs, quality, and delivery performance. This position requires a deep understanding of the aerospace industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing and you will work out of our Malaysia location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring efficient procurement processes, driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management, and contributing to the overall success of our Aerospace Technologies business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance.
• Strong negotiation skills and processes.
• Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline.
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred.
• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry.
• Significant experience managing subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.).
• Ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
• Experience with executing subcontracts.
