Team Lead, Inventory Management

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating inventory records.
• Conducting stock counts for consumables, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Developing or improving inventory management procedures (if necessary).
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, or merchandise.
• Monitoring and assisting all departments regarding fulfilment and delivery for items under the Inventory Team’s purview.
• Responsible for verification of Delivery Order (DO) items when receiving goods by referring to the Purchase Order (PO) and filling out Goods Received Notes (GRN).
• Assisting the Procurement team with asset tagging.
• Assisting supervisor and team members with day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a DIPLOMA/DEGREE with 1-year experience.
• Experience with inventory/warehouse management.
• Multi-tasking, careful, attention to detail, strong integrity, sense of urgency, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferably specializing in Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Required language(s): English, Malay.
• Ability to operate reach truck and forklift is preferred.
