Accounting Support (AP Position)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining the administration of supplier relationships and resolving match exception issues;
2. Verifying supplier invoices for compliance and accuracy;
3. Processing invoices, credits, and payments to suppliers;
4. Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements;
5. Assisting Fastenal stores, vendors, and others with correct invoicing requirements;
6. Identifying and implementing procedural improvements to enhance efficiency;
7. Planning and organizing activities to complete assigned tasks on time with a high level of accuracy;
8. Completing special projects and other administrative tasks.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

1. Possess or are working towards a degree in Accounting OR have relevant work experience;
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language;
3. Proficient using Microsoft Office;
4. Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities, and attention to detail;
5. Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and analytical skills;
6. Possess math aptitude and basic knowledge of Accounting principles;
7. Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment;
8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
9. Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork;
10. Must live or relocate to Johor due to use of company equipment.

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience working in Accounts Payable;
2. Proficient using PeopleSoft.
