Job description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Managed full HR spectrums to support the day-to-day HR operations and activities of manufacturing companies in Malaysia.
  • Assist in the full recruitment process and fulfilling the manpower needs
  • Handle on-boarding and off-boarding planning and execution
  • Responsible for employment administration and reporting matters (including work permits, leave records, medical claims, employee insurance, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee records for accurate reporting.
  • Process payroll and monthly statutory submissions
  • Involved in the development and implementation of compensation incentive and retention plans
  • Facilitate annual performance reviews with line managers, design of training roadmap, employee communication and engagement activities.
  • Manage employee relations and other sensitive matters professionally and diplomatically.
  • Monitors and ensures the Company’s compliance with local employment laws and regulations and best practices.
  • Work closely with corporate HR to implement and review or modify policies and practices to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
  • Provide HR information and analysis for management review and analytical purposes, such as headcount reports, salary surveys and benchmarks, manpower costing, etc.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc HR-related tasks/projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in Human Resources, Business or related fields
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience. Applicants with more years of experience or hold senior roles may be considered for Senior Manager.
  • Those with experience from a manufacturing background and handling production manpower are advantageous
  • Possesses strong knowledge of labour and industry relations laws and practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS InfoTech is an added advantage
  • Proactive, with excellent follow-through to achieve results under tight deadlines.
  • A strong team player, possess strong communication skills and integrity to handle confidential information.
  • Proactively work towards fostering a positive work environment and culture.
  • People-oriented, friendly, fun, highly empathetic, and positive attitude
  • Must be willing to base in Kulai (1 day) but travel to Pekan Nanas (4 days) to oversee new setup
