Location: PJ

Salary: RM2,300 to RM2,800

Purpose of the Job

• Responsible for the receiving of Raw/Packaging/finished Goods correctly from production/incoming delivery and move to storage bins using scanner.
• Responsible to pick the FG from the storage bin and move into staging and loading into trucks using scanner.
• Perform good 5S in work area and maintain proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of forklift to ensure good running condition.
• Act as a backup for Administrator and Unloading Operator, should there a need arise.
• Any other jobs as assigned by Administrator.

Main Accountabilities / Key Tasks

Safety

• Ensure compliance to certification requirement for ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and company’s SHE policies & Life Saving Rules (LSR) in warehouse.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following warehouse safety guidelines and safety operating procedures.
• Conduct LMRA before any activity and during non-routine tasks.
• Report any near miss or safety observation, suggest improvements in safety or ergonomics at your workstation and follow-up closure.

Quality

• Ensure compliance to FOQUS, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP plan and DLMI Quality System.
• Actively practice Golden Quality Rules (GQR) and quality deviation & improvement idea reporting.
• Support RCA for deviation.

Productivity

• Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Maneuver forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
• Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Unload deliveries and safely relocate the goods to their designated storage areas.
• Ensure that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions.
• Regularly check forklift equipment for faults or damages.
• Use industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport.
• Keep up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.

Job Scope

• Includes Raw, packaging material, Finished Goods, and empty pallets.
• Consistently adhere to standard operating procedures including using scanner and ensuring each HU received is scanned before putaway.
• Perform weekly housekeeping to ensure inventory accuracy (SAP vs Physical).
• Support for Quarterly Cycle Counts of inventory and pallets.
• Perform cleaning and ensure 5S at forklift and charging area.
• Maintain GMP requirement at work area at all times.
• Support maintenance of forklift during breakdown.
• Support internal and external audit with no findings.
• Able to support shift duty and overtime as required.
• Able to support Administrator or Unloading Operator as backup if required.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Critical Competencies

Knowledge

• Minimum 1 year working experience in any Food Manufacturing Industry with a certificate (SPM) or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations and processes.
• Experience in using SAP system scanners.
• Capable to operate forklift.
• Understanding in quality control, 5S and basic warehouse standards.
• Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, HIRADC, LOTOTO, and RCA.

Skills

• Experience and licensed to operate forklift.
• Good command of language, oral and written (English/Bahasa Malaysia).
• Computer literate.
