Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Executive to manage our social media presence and elevate our brand’s online visibility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a monthly social media content calendar, managing influencer and affiliate programs, planning brand events, building a strong online community, and fostering brand collaborations for internal and external marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and brand messaging.
  • Create and design engaging posts, stories, and multimedia content for various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in style, tone, and voice, and optimized for each platform.

Influencer & Affiliate Program Management

  • Source and manage relationships with influencers and affiliate partners to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic.
  • Oversee the creation of influencer/affiliate campaigns, negotiating terms, deliverables, and compensation.
  • Track performance of influencer and affiliate campaigns, ensuring measurable success and return on investment (ROI).

Brand Collaborations & External Partnerships

  • Identify and establish partnerships with relevant brands, businesses, and content creators to boost brand visibility and expand the reach.
  • Collaborate with external partners on joint campaigns, promotions, and collaborations to leverage their audience and build brand credibility.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining positive relationships with partners to ensure long-term successful collaborations.
  • Support offline retail customers with social media content (videos and visuals), and explore ways to collaborate with retail pharmacies using social media.

Brand Events & Campaigns

  • Coordinate and promote brand events, including virtual and in-person events, product launches, workshops, and coordinate any materials (printed and online) required for the event with designer.
  • Develop engaging content and promotional strategies to increase attendance, engagement, and visibility of events.

Community Building & Engagement

  • Build and nurture a loyal online community by interacting with followers, responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions.
  • Monitor and analyze audience engagement metrics, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to increase community involvement.
  • Organize and participate in online initiatives (challenges, giveaways, etc.) to engage and grow the brand’s social media community.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, producing reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns, content, and influencer partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, suggesting adjustments to content and strategy based on performance metrics.

Trend Analysis & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to keep the brand’s content and strategies innovative and ahead of the curve.
  • Experiment with new social media platforms, tools, and technologies to continuously improve and diversify the brand’s online presence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in social media management, influencer marketing, or a similar role.
  • Ability to shoot and edit compelling, engaging creative content for social media (shoot videos) with good turnaround time.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Experience in managing influencer relationships and affiliate marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with online communities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to brainstorm and implement new content ideas and campaigns.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus.
  • A passion for staying on top of social media trends, influencer culture, and digital marketing.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of paid social media campaigns and ad management.
  • Event management experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Xiao Hong Shu platform is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
