Job description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a logistics leader who can elevate the warehouse and delivery and to contribute to develop the new warehouse of the highest standard. The position reports to the Logistics Director directly and is expected to work closely with the Management and all key stakeholders to achieve the highest satisfaction of our customers, to grow our business and to improve P&L structure. The incumbent requires strong organizational skills, attention to details and effective communication with external and internal stakeholder to maintain smooth operations and meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Review KPI Setting

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of UNIQLO Malaysia’s Logistics strategy, aligning with the overall company’s strategy and goals.
  • Challenge for new levels of supply chain management including the new warehouse and /or automation of some operations.
  • To review the results, identify improvement points and act with the team and collaborators to serve he best to our Stores and EC.
  • Formulate mid-term, seasonal, monthly, and weekly plans and strategies to achieve logistics and inventory KPIs. Closely collaborate with the production planning to achieve the company and global KPI.
  • Proactively communicate and effectively connected to the Global Headquarters and other business entities, to seek and reflect the best practice.

Budget Management

  • To realize the company’s low-cost management principle, drive cost efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse and delivery expenses as well as any investment.
  • Set and manage the budget of logistics costs, together with the warehouse productivity KPI, in collaboration with other departments such as Store Operations, E-Commerce, Merchandise Planning, and Inventory Control.

Reporting and Process Management

  • Closely follow up with the sales situation and the forecast by analysing and reviewing of the company’s reports and sharing by the other departments, to calibrate logistics plans and execution to assist optimization of Store and EC inventories.
  • Through weekly Management meetings, discuss fundamental issues to decide for DC, EC, and delivery issues and take a lead on the decided action.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify the opportunities to improve logistics processes and enhance the supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to the company policies, safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
  • At least 7 years of experiences in warehousing/ logistic operations is required.
  • Candidates with working experience in logistic/ retail company is preferred.
  • Experienced in project management such as warehouse relocation/ new warehouse establishment/ transitioning of partnership between vendors is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to details and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt well and open minded to changes and dynamic situation.
