Job Summary:

Are you the go-to person for all things tech? Do you have a magical way of solving computer woes with a single click (or maybe two)? If so, we’re looking for a tech-savvy hero like YOU to join our IT Helpdesk & Support team!

Technical Support:

  • Provide timely and efficient technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist users with setup, installation, and configuration of computer systems and applications.

System Maintenance:

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripherals.
  • Conduct regular system updates, patch management, and software installations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, antivirus updates, and disk space management.

Incident Management:

  • Log, prioritize, and track support requests through a ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Follow up with users to ensure satisfactory resolution of incidents.

User Training and Documentation:

  • Provide guidance and training to users on best practices for system usage and IT security.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

IT Asset Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Assist in the procurement, setup, and deployment of new IT equipment.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, macOS, Linux), networking concepts, and common software applications.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed
  • Able to speak Malay, English, and preferably Mandarin.
  • Driver's license required (Class D)

Selected candidates might be required to undergo 1 month training at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
