HR Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions, including payroll, foreign worker management, and team leadership.

This role requires a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to manage a team of 6 HR subordinates effectively and contribute to the company’s growth in the steel manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, and termination processes.
2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with statutory requirements, and resolution of related issues.
3. Manage all aspects of foreign worker recruitment, permits, accommodations, and regulatory compliance.
4. Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and Malaysian labor laws.
5. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
6. Foster a positive workplace environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
7. Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of HR management experience.
3. Prior leadership experience managing a team of at least 5.
4. Candidates with HR experience in manufacturing or related industries are highly preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and foreign worker regulations.
6. Proficiency in payroll software and HR systems.
7. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
