Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to optimize productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes with other business functions.
Oversee the training and development of the logistics team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Monitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Enforce high safety standards to maintain a healthy and legally compliant work environment.
Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, including warehouse contractors.
Proficient in inventory management and warehouse operations processes, promoting a culture of excellence.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management, with the ability to work under pressure and deal with constraints that are often outside of your control.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5-10 years of relevant experience in warehouse management.
2-3 years of experience in leading a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Experience with multi-level stakeholder management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work shifts (3 shifts in the future).
Able to support ad-hoc requests over the weekend whenever needed.
Technical expertise with different SAP tools and systems, such as SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, will be an added advantage.
