Position Overview:
The incumbent will receive industrial development and exposure to a medical device environment. He/she will practice hands-on activities related to production machine issues, machine improvement activities, and service/repair of equipment/devices. He/she will provide support to the assigned area/field and complete tasks assigned by Supervisors/Engineers/Coaches within or across divisions.

Insulet's Delivery Systems business also partners with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to tailor the OmniPod technology platform for the delivery of subcutaneous drugs across multiple therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities:
- Review documents from our CM supplier and convert to local (Insulet Malaysia) SOP format.
- Check documents to ensure they meet local process flow.
- Some knowledge in Manufacturing Operation and understanding of Omnipod process.
- Understand defects of product, cycle time of machine, and operation of production machine.
- Scorecard production line efficiency, scrap, and downtime performance.
- Provide daily updates to supervisor/coach.
- Perform other duties or assignments as requested by immediate supervisor/coach.
- Suggest improvement activities for machine downtime, cycle time improvement, quality improvement, and CIP initiatives.
- Learn and explore communication methodology through task assignments.
- Ability to be independent and self-motivated.
- Monitor data collection systems and trend data.
- Analyze large amounts of data to present clear, actionable information to the team.
- Analyze and improve current business processes to increase efficiency.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to lead long-term process improvement and implementation projects.
- Support root-cause investigations and machine improvement efforts.
- Uphold and comply with Insulet Code of Conduct, Quality, and HSE policy.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
- Maintain a cGMP compliant environment and operate within FDA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Support machine operations and product inspections.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrolled as BS or MS candidate in engineering course or at least final year in engineering course or similar field.
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analytics tools.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Data Analysis: Minitab, JMP, Excel.
- CAD: Solidworks, AutoCAD.
- Multi-language fluency preferred (English, Malay, Mandarin).
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand up to 75% of working time per shift, with walking up to 50% of working time per shift.
- Able to work off shifts (nights/weekends) as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally, 5-20lbs frequently.
- Required to reach above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally.
- Required to push and pull.
- Required to stand for extended periods of time and navigate an active production floor.
