Drive sales and business development for occupational health and safety products, including aviation tools, rivets, drills, grinders, abrasives, tapes & adhesives, and personal protective equipment (PPEs).
Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and oil & gas.
Establish and cultivate strong business relationships with customers.
Manage and expand product range and usage within the assigned territory for sales growth.
Serve as a technical advisor to customers by offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, training, and presentations to help customers understand product benefits.
Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sale support.
Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions.
Responsible for new account acquisition, new product development, and maintaining existing customers.
Conduct regular visits/meetings with customers and respond to verbal & written inquiries.
Meet or exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) consistently.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to expand the customer base and stay updated on industry trends.
Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, tenders, technical documentation, monthly business review reports, and other required management reports.
Job Requirements
Preferably a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in the automotive or oil & gas industries.
Strong understanding of occupational health & safety products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and sales skills.
Ability to explain technical product details and benefits to both technical and non-technical customers.
