Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Able to supervise, coordinate, improve and schedule all the maintenance activities.
2. Supervise, inspect and monitor all crew activities including visual inspections and measurements, proper procedures and documentation of objective quality evidence.
3. Able to supervise, coordinate and ensure all the Preventive/Predictive/Corrective maintenance jobs are completed and comply with SOP.
4. Assist the Maintenance Manager in performing Plant continuous improvement program in terms of processing flow, working style/methods, increased equipment performance, etc.
5. Able to plan and make requisition of material for the maintenance job from Central Store or make direct charge purchase requisition.
6. Have good relationships with superiors, subordinates and other department teams.
7. Meets regularly with superior to review engineering needs, capital spending and maintenance or improvement issues.
8. Improve maintenance systems such as preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and parts availability.
9. Perform equipment breakdown support and troubleshooting support when necessary.
10. Read field procedures, job cards, technical manuals, blueprints and schematic drawings to determine proper work procedures.
11. Train, coach, and mentor technician employees within the technician qualification and competency models.
12. Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health at the workplace.
