Handle full set of accounts of the assigned companies, includes general accounting, account receivable, account payable, tax and treasury and ensure the financial reports are prepared on an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for preparation of tax estimation and schedules for assigned companies accounts.
Ensuring in timely closing of monthly accounts.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and journal.
Preparation of Service Tax (SST), Local Government Fee (LGF) and Tourism Tax (TTx) submission.
Prepare related companies transactions and ensure reconciling items are followed up properly.
Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirement.
Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
Prepare invoices and utilities imbursement.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Verify staff claims and suppliers’ invoices.
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for bookkeeping.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Job Requirements
Diploma and above in accounting and related fields.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
Knowledge of SQL accounting software will be an advantage.
Strong computer literacy in particular knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Good time management and work prioritization, ability to meet deadlines.
Candidate will act as a Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Administrative for this job position.
Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Able to work independently, self-motivated, possess analytical skills, ability to adapt to change and proactive team player.
