Mechanical Engineer

Kemudi Santun Sdn Bhd, a leading engineering firm based in Sibu, Sarawak, is seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems that are integral to our clients' projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet project specifications and requirements
2. Conducting research, analysis, and testing to optimise the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project delivery
4. Preparing detailed technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and instructions
5. Providing on-site support and troubleshooting during the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems
6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and developing mechanical systems
3. Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, for designing and modelling mechanical components
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Familiarity with project management principles and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
7. Knowledgeable about relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
