Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security checks are embedded at each stage.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate automated security testing tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously assess and optimize CI/CD processes and security practices based on feedback and evolving best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of DevSecOps principles, tools, and practices.
- Ensure all DevOps practices comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in conducting audits to review SDLC processes and deployed systems for compliance with production efficiency and security protocols.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security professionals.
Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to foster a DevSecOps culture.
- Experience in project management and supporting Agile development processes (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Experience with security scanning tools (e.g., SAST, DAST).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
