This company has been a leading drilling service provider in the oil & gas sector for the past decade. With the company's expansion, a Finance Manager position has been created.

Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be tasked with:

• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Analyse data to develop solutions that provide actionable insights for financial and business operations.
• Prepare budgets, oversee cash flow, and manage all other financial plans.
• Support business leaders and initiatives with financial analysis to drive performance improvements, identify trends, and find cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Manage cash flow, allocate and maintain operational budgets, and optimise working capital.
• Monitor and update accounting practices to ensure a robust internal control environment in compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Establish internal financial controls, conduct fixed asset and year-end stock takes, perform periodic internal and external audits, and implement improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role, you will need to possess:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• 8-10 years working experience in the Accounting and Finance field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proactive and willing to take up challenges to make a difference to business growth.
