Check and maintain good housekeeping in production, tumbling, glove storage area, and factory premises.
Organise and allocate machine operators to the Group Leaders in carrying out daily tasks.
Organise the rest time for Group Leaders.
Provide on-the-job training to newly recruited workers (Group Leader or Machine Operator).
Record the training or guidance given in the Employee Training Record.
Ensure Group Leaders perform their daily tasks in accordance with the written work instruction or standard operating procedure.
Report to Executive or Engineer/Manager on any problems that cannot be resolved.
Check and recommend actions to be taken for workers absent from work (either Group Leaders or machine operators).
Enforce the company's rules and regulations.
Attend to problems that cannot be resolved by subordinates (both product quality and worker's problems).
Check and verify reports submitted by Group Leaders. Action is to be taken when there is non-compliance.
Check QAI inspection results and take necessary actions to solve problems arising at the production lines.
Ensure higher production output with low rejection rates.
Advise Executive/Engineer or Manager on lines that need to be stopped for cleaning of formers.
Coordinate with the engineering department for heat requirements for the lines.
Check the latex, coagulant, polymer, and powdering supply and change when required.
Ensure chiller, chiller pump, hot water pump, air compressor, dust collector, tumbling machines, tumbling computer, and other related equipment are functioning properly.
Ensure parameters or specifications for coagulant, polymer, powdering, latex, and chlorination are within limits.
Report to the Engineering department for any breakdowns.
Conduct equipment and materials inspection as per checklist.
Coordinate with Former, Tumbling, and QCP personnel to ensure smooth running of operations.
Report to Production Executive/Engineer or Manager on overall production on a daily basis.
Ensure good housekeeping and proper handling, storage, and preservation of the product in all related areas.
Attend monthly supervisor meetings/discussions.
Evaluate and complete appraisals for Group Leaders and Operators.
Any other tasks that may be assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies preferred.
SPM leavers with some supervisory experience are encouraged to apply. Fresh diploma holders will also be considered.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to supervise a team of Group Leaders in carrying out their daily job responsibilities.
Willing to work on a rotation shift (7am-7pm/7pm-7am).
