We are looking for a driven Senior Social Media & Content Specialist to champion our social media and content strategy. You will primarily be working on our B2B brand, StoreHub, with occasional support for our e-commerce brand, Deals Club, and B2C brand, Beep.

In this role, you should have a strong understanding of different social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, along with B2B marketing strategies and the Malaysian market.

Beyond execution, we’re looking for someone who can think strategically — someone who not only creates content but understands how to optimise it for impact and growth.

The work is fast-paced and constantly evolving, so we need someone who can keep up, adapt, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What you will do:

  • Create high-quality, localised content across various formats (social media, blog, paid ads, video, etc.), optimised for each platform and tailored to our target audiences.
  • Develop and implement content, distribution, and optimisation strategies to increase key metrics such as engagement, reach, and lead generation.
  • Apply strong copywriting skills across multiple formats, including social media captions, ad copy, blog posts, scripts, and in-asset copy—using proven copywriting frameworks and SEO principles to drive engagement, visibility, and conversions.
  • Manage and launch new social media channels as needed, ensuring each platform aligns with our brand and content strategy. Current accounts include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu, and Spotify.
  • Engage with our audience through community management—actively responding to comments, DMs, and interactions across platforms to foster engagement and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing for go-to-market (GTM) launches and Acquisition for content strategies supporting paid ads across different funnels.
  • Leverage data and insights to analyse trends, track performance, and refine content strategies to drive organic growth and improve key metrics.
  • Work closely with the video team to plan, produce, and execute content shoots with merchants and in-house, ensuring high-quality and engaging storytelling.
  • Continuously run experiments and A/B tests to optimise content performance and identify new opportunities for growth.

Must have:

  • Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good grammar and an understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar field.
  • Experience with video editing and a good eye for graphic design, with proficiency in tools like Canva and CapCut.
  • Experience in gathering, analysing, and acting on data to create high-performing content and continually optimise platforms.
  • Content distribution and optimisation expertise—ability to create content that’s optimised for multiple platforms and audiences.
  • A deep understanding of the Malaysian market and knowing what content resonates with them.
  • Social media listening skills—constantly staying updated on social media trends, algorithms, and insights to turn them into actionable steps.
  • Creative mindset and problem-solving abilities—able to think outside the box and quickly adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills—able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • An obsession with detail—ensuring every piece of content is meticulously optimised, error-free, and polished for each platform’s needs.

Bonus Points:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages.
  • Experience with advanced graphic design tools like Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience with paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) – creating ads that align with content strategies and drive results.
