Purchasing Officer (Chinese candidates) *As this role requires sourcing for suppliers from China, ability to read, write and communicate in Chinese for business purpose is a Must.
Prefer candidate with working experience in FMCG industry. Prefer Chinese or Indian candidate to balance workforce.
Responsibilities:
Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
Performing inventory analysis, reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
Coordinating with the shipping line and forwarders for timely cargo delivery.
Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
Establishing professional relationships with stakeholders as well as vendors and suppliers.
Purchasing Officer Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or engineering.
Previous 1-2 years experience in a similar position. Fresh Graduates are welcome.
Willing to travel overseas.
Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Great organizational and planning skills.
The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
