Purchasing Officer (Chinese candidates)
*As this role requires sourcing for suppliers from China, ability to read, write and communicate in Chinese for business purpose is a Must.

Prefer candidate with working experience in FMCG industry. Prefer Chinese or Indian candidate to balance workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
• Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Performing inventory analysis, reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
• Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
• Coordinating with the shipping line and forwarders for timely cargo delivery.
• Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
• Establishing professional relationships with stakeholders as well as vendors and suppliers.

Purchasing Officer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or engineering.
• Previous 1-2 years experience in a similar position. Fresh Graduates are welcome.
• Willing to travel overseas.
• Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Great organizational and planning skills.
• The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
