This position involves providing financial & business support to key members of the relevant leadership team. The position is also responsible for providing timely and accurate bookkeeping and reporting in accordance with both local regulations (legal entity reporting) and US GAAP requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Support: Provide financial & business support to key functions within the business and be an integral part of annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles.
In this capacity, you will work with the relevant key stakeholders to provide financial support and ensure results, forecasts & budgets are complete and submitted timely. Work closely with functional staff to establish metrics providing measurement data and updating metrics as needed.
The successful candidate will need to review business processes within each of these groups to ensure full financial control & optimum efficiency. He/She will take the lead role in the design and implementation of cost improvements, efficiency studies, and drive process & cost improvements.
Projects Support: Finance lead and/or supporting role for all projects that require finance support. Establish an ongoing project review process and drive cost control & solid forecasting in this area.
Oversee OEM trading hub supply chain end-to-end process and ensure proper control is in place.
Ensure sales/COGS/inventory are recorded correctly. Review and monitor closely the accounts related to the transaction and take action as necessary.
Manage transaction processes including product return and intercompany delivery discrepancies correction. Manage processes for credit and product replacement from vendors.
Perform month-end close process to ensure timely close and financial reports preparation. Ensure financial and accounting processes comply with corporate and local policies, statutory requirements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; liaise with independent auditors and support audit-related accounting matters.
Payment and calculation of all local taxes; maintain all substantiation records for tax.
Implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Ensure adherence to internal policies and best practice policies.
Ad hoc Project Support: We operate in a very dynamic environment and have a strong focus on continuous improvement. The candidate must be capable of representing Finance on various project teams and take a lead role within the team to drive improvements & cost savings. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Deal with other ad-hoc matters as they arise.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree holder in Accounting, CPA or ACCA (or equivalent professional)
Min. 8 years of multinational company experience with audit experience in an audit firm
English language competency and effective communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Good working attitude and able to work in a team
