Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure a longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.
• Perform training as needed to lower level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment.
• Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.
• Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
• Construct and/or assemble new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.
• Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements.
• Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Help in repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
• Adhere to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Professional Certificate with 5+ years experience in injection molding maintenance or extrusion, or mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repair.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
• Good basic math skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting ability.
