PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing operational costs such as factory supplies and overtime costs.
• Manage the preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Oversee the Environment, Health, and Safety program within the manufacturing area.
• Conduct training for staff in skill enhancement.
• Collaborate with management, production, and marketing staff to determine manufacturing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
• Forecast operating costs of the department and direct the preparation of budget requests.
• Review and establish material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
• Prioritize production schedules based on equipment efficiency and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution.
• Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
