Job Responsibility:

• Underwrite and assess medical and non-medical proposals up to the authority given (Individual Life, Group & Credit Business)
• Attend to enquiries and emails from interdepartmental staff, branches, agents, marketers, bankers, policyholders, and reinsurers.
• Monitor closely the achievement of Key Results Area set for the department. Ensure timely implementation of action plans on assigned tasks under her responsibility.
• Recognize and determine trends in problems occurrence or workflow, referring upward for further investigation where appropriate.
• Support the Manager to continuously review processes, identify and resolve service gaps through constructive feedback and implement improvements where appropriate.
• Involve in UAT system testing for new products and continuous system enhancement whenever necessary.
• Relieve other team members as and when required to ensure the underwriting service level is well maintained.
• Undertake other work/duties/ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree from Biomedical or Health Sciences.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in medical underwriting is required for this position.
