Network Transmission Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Transmission Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network transmission with expertise in documentation, MS Excel, and MS Word. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Perform physical network installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support.
• Prepare detailed reports on network performance, maintenance activities, and repair outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all fiber optic installations and modifications.
• Update network documentation to reflect changes and improvements.
• Proficient in fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network architecture and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in fiber optic network installation and maintenance.
• Assist in the planning and design of network expansions and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless network integration and operation.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on network equipment.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Network Transmission or a related field.
• Proven experience in network installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
