SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER/ FINANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations: Manage the day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable & receivable, payroll, banking, and general ledger.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and provide insightful analysis to management.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Project Financing: Monitor and administer all term loan/bridging loan related matters and ensure compliance to the loan covenants.
• Cash Flow Management: Implement strategies to optimize working capital and ensure sufficient cash flow to support operations.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with the business, including supplier credit, customer defaults, and market fluctuations.
• Annual Statutory Audit: Liaising with the Auditor on Annual Statutory Audit and ensure compliance to the Accounting Standards and submission timeline.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and filings.
• Internal Controls & Processes: Develop and implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
• Financial Systems & Technology: Evaluate and implement financial management software solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• Minimum of (8/5) years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least (5/3) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in the property and construction industry or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and taxation.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Working knowledge on the Service Tax Regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software.
