To handle or assist in handling all matters relating to real estate conveyancing that the firm undertakes, such as preparing SPA for development projects, security documentation for banking facilities/loan, as well as incidental matters until completion.
To provide legal advice/opinion in respect of the business operation to ensure maximum protection and to maintain business operation within the limits prescribed by law.
To draft, review, vet, and negotiate on the commercial/legal issues for the related agreements and to analyze contracts on legal/commercial risks and provide timely advice to mitigate any risks.
Conduct work with integrity and responsibility, maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
Liaise with external parties, including relevant authorities and external solicitors.
Preparation of defense in respect of tribunal claims.
Perform other duties as delegated by the Management.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Law, legal or equivalent from reputable educational institutions.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a legal advisory role, with a proven track record of effectively managing legal matters in a business environment, specifically related to real estate.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, particularly those within the real estate industry, such as the Housing Development Act (HDA) and the Companies Act.
Ability in drafting/vetting agreements and writing legal opinions.
Proficient in both spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
Possess good interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
