Legal Manager/ Legal Executive

• To handle or assist in handling all matters relating to real estate conveyancing that the firm undertakes, such as preparing SPA for development projects, security documentation for banking facilities/loan, as well as incidental matters until completion.
• To provide legal advice/opinion in respect of the business operation to ensure maximum protection and to maintain business operation within the limits prescribed by law.
• To draft, review, vet, and negotiate on the commercial/legal issues for the related agreements and to analyze contracts on legal/commercial risks and provide timely advice to mitigate any risks.
• Conduct work with integrity and responsibility, maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
• Liaise with external parties, including relevant authorities and external solicitors.
• Preparation of defense in respect of tribunal claims.
• Perform other duties as delegated by the Management.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Law, legal or equivalent from reputable educational institutions.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a legal advisory role, with a proven track record of effectively managing legal matters in a business environment, specifically related to real estate.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, particularly those within the real estate industry, such as the Housing Development Act (HDA) and the Companies Act.
• Ability in drafting/vetting agreements and writing legal opinions.
• Proficient in both spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
