GENERAL JOB BRIEF

This position is responsible for installation, testing, configuring, troubleshooting, fixing & data restoration on hardware, software, and networking systems; understanding of strategic IT solutions. Apply to both internal & external job requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform machine setup, troubleshooting & analysis for Company’s Products at client’s premises.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Monitor network performance (availability, latency etc.) and test for weaknesses.
  • Provide advice on the most suitable IT solution.
  • Troubleshoot and fix network and software issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot & solve technical issues when they arise.
  • Prepare and review all Service Level and Operation Metrics and KPI scorecards for service delivery.
  • Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software.
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Draft job scopes related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Diploma Holder in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as IT Senior Engineer for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems, system installation, configuration, analysis, LAN and wireless networks.
  • Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, and Office software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
  • Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
  • Advanced skills in MFC Product & Network.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills in both written & verbal forms and interpersonal skills.
  • Good customer liaison skills.
  • Valid driver’s license (B2 or D) and vehicle are required for this position as it requires onsite client support.
