Draft and prepare Project Quality Management Procedure (PQMP) and prepare, execute & update QA/QC related procedures;
Implement Quality System Training and Project Audit.
Follow-up on Corrective Action for non-conformance and Preventive Action.
Monitor day-to-day QC inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved ITP and comply with the requirements of contract documents, project procedures, and relevant industrial codes/standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or related Engineering field.
Professional Certification (preferred but not mandatory):
NACE CIP Level 1 or 2 (Coating Inspector Program)
AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or CSWIP 3.1
API 570/510 (Optional but beneficial)
BEM Graduate Engineer or MBOT certification (preferred).
Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in QA/QC for pipeline projects, pipe coating, and welding inspections.
Experience with pipe coating types (FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, CTE) and application processes.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS, API 5L, ASME B31.3/B31.4, and NACE/ISO 21809 standards.
Experience with NDT techniques (UT, RT, MPI, PT, Holiday Testing).
Proficiency in QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and Material Test Reports (MTRs).
Ability to interpret welding procedures (WPS, PQR) and welding defects.
Knowledge of cathodic protection systems and pipeline integrity assessment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
Ability to work on-site in harsh environments and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Willing to travel or be stationed at project sites.
Experience in EPC, pipeline contractors, or asset integrity projects is an advantage.
