DENTAL ASSISTANT

LOCATION : TOOTHOUSE DENTAL CLINIC, JALAN WAN ALWI, KUCHING

About the role

Join the growing team at Dentco Smile Sdn Bhd as a Dental Assistant. This full-time position in Kuching, Sarawak will see you providing essential support to our experienced dentists, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of dental care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our clinic's smooth operations and supporting the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during examination and treatment procedures
• Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment
• Managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
• Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's reception area
• Supporting the dental team with any other administrative or clinical tasks as required

What we're looking for

• No experience needed; previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role is a bonus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain meticulous records
• Able to use Microsoft Office
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and upholding high standards of infection control
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a team
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese
