Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities- To provide support in relevant governmental department inspections.
- Support Safety and Health Committee activities, audits and maintain records to ensure all safety and health requirements are in compliance as required by legislation.
- Conduct internal safety and health audits and follow up for closure of corrective actions.
- Assist the EHS team in maintaining an active Emergency Response Team (ERT) and coordinate trainings for the ERT members.
- Conduct machine/equipment buy-off for all new machines or equipment in the factory.
- Conduct EHS trainings and briefings to employees.
- Ensure all relevant permits for contractors are being effectively enforced. Ensure contractors working on-site comply with all EHS requirements and take control measures to prevent accidents.
- Assist in coordination of EHS monitoring activities and follow up on action required if any.
Education & Experience- Diploma in Engineering, Science, Quality Management or its equivalents with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the EHS field.
- Attended relevant environment, safety and health training recognized by DOSH, DOE, NIOSH, AELB, and other relevant agencies.
Skills- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving.
- Independent and able to work with minimum guidance or supervision.
- Able to conduct training in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
