CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily operations for shipment including documentation.
• Correspond with shipper/consignee & agent for new shipment.
• Monitor closely the progress of work orders from place booking to release booking and keep the customers informed regularly.
• Communicate with the shipper for sailing schedule, booking confirmation, and other related documents.
• Communicate with the agent for container arrangement and custom documents.
• Communicate with overseas agents for pre-alert and other requirements.
• Be attentive to the details of booking and ensure all requests are responded to timely to meet the requirements of customers.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documents such as bill of lading (BL), shipping instruction (SI) and submit before closing without any delay.
• Ensure all invoices and payments are issued accordingly and upload all documents to Smart Sheet for record purposes.
• Process shipments by the SOP and strictly follow company procedures.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field (preferably in Logistic/Supply Chain Management).
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Good communication skills and proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Required skills: Planning & Coordination Skill, Negotiation Skill, Customer Service, and Relation Management.
