Senior Technical Sales Representative
Job description
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide technical support to physicians during device implant and meet sales target assigned.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform CRMD product in-service and sales call to current and potential customers in assigned territories.
- Manage consignment stocks in assigned territories.
- Manage and execute new product launch in assigned territories.
- Prepare quotation upon request.
- Ensure customer sales cycle is complete (including obtaining PO etc.).
- Provide technical service and support and patient follow-up to external customers.
- Provide training to cardiac technicians, referral doctors, healthcare workers, and team members.
- Obtain market intelligence such as competitor product, pricing, market share, marketing program etc.
- Understand local government healthcare policy and market trends.
- Handle and process customer complaints in a timely manner and in accordance with Abbott requirements.
- Assist in clinical research, when necessary.
OTHER FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as back-up for other CRMD team members.
- Be on call for emergency/follow-up cases during weekends or after office hours.
- Handle and process customer complaints in a timely manner and according to Abbott CRMD Malaysia policy and requirements.
- Execute job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott CRMD Malaysia.
- Perform other related functions and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences or any equivalent.
