Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant & Machinery Manager, the onboarding supervisor will organize and record activities on a dredger and act as a coordinator between the crewmates.

Key Responsibilities

1. Close monitoring of project activities including work progress and quality adherence to specifications, performance of contractor’s manpower requirement, and ensuring proper recording and documentation of site works are carried out in the most efficient cost-effective ways.
2. Supervise and coordinate all works to ensure they are performed in accordance with the required standards and quality.
3. Jointly measure the progress claims with contractors to ensure work is done accordingly.
4. Arrange and manage site inspections with consultants and contractors.
5. Make every effort to preserve an atmosphere of harmonious understanding and cooperation between all parties engaged in the works.
6. Identify discrepancies between the construction drawings and the actual site conditions.
7. Ensure that all products delivered to the site are handled and stored appropriately.
8. Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
9. Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

SPM or Above

Skills & Abilities

1. Good working knowledge in construction works.
2. Ability to stay onboard the vessel for extended periods of time.

Min 2 years
