Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Lai Pau Construction Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects. Based in Melaka, this full-time position will see you leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Oversee all aspects of project execution, from procurement and site management to stakeholder coordination and quality control
• Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and milestones to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Mentor and develop the project management team to foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry
• Strong technical understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Excel
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
