Senior Corporate Finance Manager (PLC)

About Our Client

Our client is a PLC who is looking for a hands-on, driven individual who is technically strong with good working ethics.

Job Description

1. Evaluate and review corporate proposals, including funding and capital raising initiatives, to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
2. Conduct valuations of target companies using various methodologies, and prepare feasibility studies and financial models/projections where applicable.
3. Develop models for mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, and business models, including pre- and post-deal cash flows, P&L, balance sheets, and assessing the financial impact on group results for valuation and due diligence.
4. Formulate corporate proposal schemes, negotiating optimal terms and structures in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Address proposal-related issues and provide solutions or recommendations.
5. Prepare and review all relevant documentation for proposals, including presentations, legal documents, board papers, shareholder announcements, and circulars.
6. Ensure all corporate finance activities comply with updated regulations from Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, and other statutory requirements.
7. Coordinate with internal teams and external professional parties, including investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, and tax advisors.
8. Oversee the execution of corporate exercises, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and structure until completion.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, or equivalent professional qualification.
2. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in corporate finance within a merchant banking environment, PLC, or a Big Four audit firm.
3. Possess good writing and presentation skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Proactive, ability to drive and function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
