Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive and implement marketing activities for the assigned market segments in line with the agreed strategy. Each day, you will conduct market analyses using available marketing tools for existing and potential products, systems, and/or services for assigned markets. You will also showcase your expertise by creating end-user acceptance and specification offerings tailored to the target segments while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and continuously monitoring segment performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution Business based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing marketing events and product launches involves planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns to ensure successful brand engagement, lead generation, and product positioning in the market.
- Managing social media campaigns involves planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing content across various digital platforms to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
- Supporting Product Marketing Manager in overseeing Salesforce Dashboard to track key sales performance indicators (KPIs) and generation of marketing reports.
- Collaborating with Product Marketing Specialist to conduct market research and prepare competitor analysis, define strategic marketing plans, and support relevant implementation, including communication and support to the business units to translate it into a relevant marketing strategy.
- Tracking and providing management with global market research and analysis results, informing them of identified existing gaps or new growth opportunities.
- Monitoring market trends and accordingly recommending improvements in the marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.
- Providing appropriate market information to support long- to mid-term decision-making on the marketing strategy.
- Driving continuous improvement on Net Promoter Score (NPS) and monitoring Net Price Variance (NPV).
Qualifications for the role- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communication, or a related field, with at least 5 years of proven experience in marketing or communications.
- Experience in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage solutions, particularly switchgear, Ehouse, and compact substations, is a plus.
- Strong ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and develop go-to-market strategies to enhance product positioning and market penetration.
- Proficiency in managing content, executing digital campaigns, and handling communications/public affairs to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and other digital communication tools, along with creativity and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and teams, demonstrating initiative, independence, and teamwork.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with strong presentation, research, and analytical skills.
