Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training)

We are currently seeking to hire one KSSM Mandarin teacher to join us on 14 February 2024 to teach KSSM Mandarin to our Secondary students in our National School.

Purpose of Role

To provide Amazing Learning opportunities so that students continually get better through the delivery of high-quality teaching and the creation of effective resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the policies and practices which reflect the school’s commitment to high achievement, amazing learning and effective feedback
  • Establish a clear understanding of the importance and role of the subject in contributing to students’ development
  • Use data effectively to identify students who are underachieving and create plans of action to support those students
  • Work effectively as a Homeroom Teacher to an assigned class
  • Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in the subject for all students
  • Set high expectations for students in relation to progress and achievement
  • Establish a partnership with parents and carers to involve them in their child’s learning

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with relevant specialisation or a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Teaching/Education
  • Currently teaching KSSM Mandarin with minimum two (2) years of full-time teaching experience
  • Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Patient, responsible, and passionate about teaching
  • A team player and flexible to meet the needs of the department
