Job description

Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)

  • Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and department heads on HR-related matters.
  • Partner with leadership teams to drive organizational change and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR programs, policies, and processes to ensure they support business growth and development.
  • Talent Management & Development:
    • Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
    • Design and implement succession planning and career development programs.
    • Lead performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Drive employee training and development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Act as the point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, and queries in a confidential and professional manner.
    • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies.
    • Promote employee engagement initiatives that enhance morale and productivity.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant policies.
    • Conduct regular audits of HR policies and practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
    • Handle HR-related legal matters in collaboration with external legal advisors.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting:
    • Develop and manage HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
    • Provide regular reports and insights on HR trends, employee performance, and other key metrics to senior leadership.
    • Use data-driven approaches to optimize HR strategies and processes.
  • Promote the company’s values and support efforts to maintain a positive company culture.
  • Champion employee wellness initiatives, work-life balance programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Implement employee recognition programs to reward outstanding performance and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR business partner or management role.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or agricultural sector, is highly preferred.
    • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use HR metrics to influence business decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and drive business results through HR strategies.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a senior HRBP role within the manufacturing or agriculture sectors.
  • Fluency in both English and Malay (Mandarin is a plus).
