Job description

ACCOUNT ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  2. Assist in daily checking & submit of daily report.
  3. Assist in monthly closing, journal adjustment, prepare closing report, assist in audit and tax matters.
  4. Liaise & coordinate with different departments on accounting and invoicing matters.
  5. Any other ad-hoc assignments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Knowledge in accounting and finance or relevant qualification.
  2. Experience as an Accounting Assistant / Accounting Clerk or Account Officer.
  3. Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  4. Good Excel skills; experience with Autocount accounting system will be an added advantage.
  5. Must be responsible, committed, possess good interpersonal skills, and able to work under minimum supervision.
  6. Self-motivated, independent, and responsible with a high level of initiative.
