JOB PURPOSE
Panther Hut is ISKL’s main uniform and school shop, selling books, ISKL merchandise, and other accessories. Through the PTA and Booster Club of ISKL, Panther Hut serves the needs of students and other stakeholders with various school identity-enhancing products. The Retail Executive is responsible for the daily management of the Panther Hut and ensuring that the overall merchandise needs of the ISKL population are met.
The Retail Executive is expected to contribute to the continued success of ISKL through individual and teamwork efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES inclusive but not limited to:
- Attend to the daily operation of the Panther Hut during school days.
- Account for all monies collected from sales, preparing a daily sales record.
- Record, reconcile, and follow up on collected cash and cheques, preparing official receipts.
- Order supplies for staff members as required and ensure delivery.
- Maintain Panther Hut stocks and initiate orders for re-supply.
- Take delivery of orders and inspect them against requisition forms.
- Organize and sell supplies of school uniforms and textbooks during events.
- Develop reorder levels and ensure timely stock orders.
- Maintain proper records of sales and conduct periodic stock inventories.
- Assist with unloading and checking deliveries.
- Ensure the storeroom is clean and stock is safely stored.
- Maintain proper inventory for random checks by assigned personnel.
- Update stock inventory systems as required.
- Generate ideas for marketing promotions and assist in setting up displays.
- Liaise with PTA Booster team members regarding merchandise and stock levels.
- Interact with and guide parent volunteers during busy periods.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and experience preferred
- Diploma/Degree in business management, accounting, or related field.
