UEM Edgenta Berhad Graduate Trainee Program (GeT)

UEM Edgenta Berhad is dedicated to nurturing our young talents through our Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

Program: Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) under the Protege Program

Responsibilities

1. Carry out repair work according to Reliability Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled / Scheduled / Condition-Based Maintenance), including other disciplines when required.
2. Perform maintenance for specialized and complex equipment according to Reliability Centred Maintenance, especially on assets or facility systems that require expertise.
3. Support in performing preventive and routine maintenance activities and record log sheets / key in all data in the Engineering Operation Data (EOD) module of the Asset and Services Information System (ASIS).
4. Request orders of goods in accordance with Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor the progress of work done by vendors, and verify invoices for payment processing.
5. Attend and verify Testing & Commissioning as well as assist in the Asset / Project Registration process for new assets/projects as per requirements.
6. Assist and provide technical feedback on maintenance work requiring vendor expertise to the superior and monitor the work.
7. Assist in scheduling and conducting housekeeping of the Plant Room, workshop, and maintenance equipment to ensure good condition and compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting purposes.
