Job description

Job Purpose:

  • We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Media Specialist to manage and optimize our media buying strategies for high-impact promotional events, including 11.11 (Singles' Day), Pay Day promotions, and other key shopping dates.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of media strategy, performance tracking, and effectiveness, focusing on leveraging event-driven insights to refine future strategies. It offers the opportunity to shape the future of our e-commerce media strategies and play a key part in driving growth during high-stakes promotional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with media agencies to develop and execute targeted media strategies for key events, including 11.11, Pay Day, and other seasonal sales.
  • Leverage historical data and insights from past campaigns to optimize media buying and campaign performance for high-conversion events.
  • Analyze and track performance metrics in real-time, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business objectives and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage budgets for media buys, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment during these major events.
  • Lead post-event analysis to assess media effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and apply these learnings to future campaigns.
  • Communicate with internal teams and media agencies to ensure a seamless strategy implementation, focusing on real-time tracking and campaign optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms with a minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing / hands-on experience managing online sales channels.
  • Proven experience in media buying and strategy development for e-commerce, particularly during major sales events like 11.11 and Pay Day.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights and apply them to optimize campaigns.
  • Familiarity with digital media tools and platforms, and a track record of effectively managing media strategies that drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with media agencies and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on measuring and improving media effectiveness based on past event performance.
