Job Description:

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including statement in profit or loss, statement of financial position and cash flow statements. Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  2. Manage the deliverables for Clearance CFO and Forecast Submission to manager for every month end closing and other group reporting to manager for every month and year end closing.
  3. Responsible to perform quarterly and annual company income tax computation (including review tax rules, deductible/Non-deductible, etc), perform the tax accounts reconciliation.
  4. Maintaining accurate financial records by recording transactions, verifying accuracy, and reconciling discrepancies.
  5. Prepare and post journal entries to update accounts. Ensure all transactions are posted timely according to the standard requirement, MFRS.
  6. Process and verify invoices/bills from suppliers and validate before arranging for posting.
  7. To do vendor reconciliation and to ensure all the different in balances to be monitored frequently, if any. Ensure prompt clearing of open GRIR and open PO.
  8. Review and process employee expense reports. Monitor and control company expenditures to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
  9. Assess the credit application of new and existing customer.
  10. Perform periodic reviews (at least annually) of existing customers’ Trading / Credit Limit and Term.
  11. Assist in the development of annual budgets. Monitor budgetary performance and report variances to management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  2. At least 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  3. Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
  4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  5. Ability to use financial management systems and tools effectively.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
