Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our online presence, optimizing sales, and driving growth through strategic online initiatives. This role involves overseeing our ecommerce platforms, managing digital marketing strategies, optimizing customer experience, and analyzing data to continuously improve our performance in the competitive alcohol and wine market.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility for product management related shop work, including product uploading, order forecasting and inventory management.
  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing the store design & product display to focus on conversion and lead generation.
  • Constantly updating products to meet the seasonal and market changes, and continuously optimizing the user experience and online shopping environment.
  • Work collaboratively with design team for online store graphic design, ensuring international best practice standards being met.
  • Planning and submitting product prices, deals and promotions on the marketplace platform to bargain more exposure in terms of barter system. To work closely with Merchandise team.
  • Uploading and managing content on portal, ensuring all links are operational and navigation is in check.
  • Building the optimal price, promotion and assortment strategy by product category.
  • Acquire customer feedback and provide useful solutions and operational issues and other areas of improvement.
  • Coordinating with key vendors, brand managers, finance, warehouse & logistics and other support functions to ensure strong execution.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders (IT/ Brand/ Marketing) to improve web and mobile app’s user experience.
  • Collaborate with brand manager & online sales manager to develop the yearly promotion plan for a large campaign, in addition to preparing monthly campaigns.
  • Weekly track/review analytics and metrics to report on sales performance.
  • Responsible for a variety of data analysis (sales data, product data, shop visits, orders) and through analysis and make adjustments to increase:
    • Conversion rate
    • Basket size
    • Repeat customer purchase
    • New customer purchase
  • Determining content for display on web portal, based on data analysis and trends.
  • Work closely with brand digital marketing to drive paid online acquisition (through GDN, Google AdWords, YouTube, META, etc.) and retargeting (through tools like Google Analytics). This will include identifying the target audience and devising digital campaigns using a wide range of media types (search, images, video, etc).
  • To work closely with external vendor to manage the following platforms:
    • The Chamber website. Require to find ways to improve user experience and to develop plans to improve conversion rates on website transactions.
    • To oversee all Market place platforms:
      • Shopee
      • Lazada
      • Grab
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in information technology or a relevant business subject; min 5 years experience.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Able to think critically, analyse data and has good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Shopify knowledge preferred but not essential.
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics/META knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Possess the desire to learn from experience and be willing to propose and experiment with new e-commerce strategies.
  • Desirable skills: A passion for fashion/retail, quick learner, attention to details, able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Need to proactively develop strategies and develop plans to ensure monthly / weekly targets are met.
  • Continuously find ways to improve deliveries on all platforms.
  • To put updates together to showcase improvements and data to management team (Progress Report by analysis data collected).
