Durian Farm Manager

We are looking for talented Durian Farm Manager to develop and lead the team for successful implementation of project activities in relation to farm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Operational Oversight: Lead both strategic planning and day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient farm activities, particularly related to durian cultivation.
2. Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring proper resource allocation and procurement needs are met.
3. Team Leadership: Manage and lead farm consultants and construction teams from the project inception to ensure the timely delivery of the project, meeting all authority approvals, quality standards, and budgets.
4. Quality Control: Monitor and verify that work done by staff or contractors meets agreed-upon standards, following up on deficiencies and resolving issues.
5. Project Issue Resolution: Act as a key support to the project team in addressing and resolving challenges throughout the implementation phase.
6. Reporting & Liaison: Report regularly to management on project progress and maintain communication with relevant government authorities, agencies, and farmers to ensure smooth implementation and quality compliance.
7. Team Development: Build and promote an open, collaborative, and respectful team environment that fosters trust and cooperation.

Requirement:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in durian farm management or project roles within the agriculture industry.
2. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Business Studies, Management, or equivalent.
3. Experience with external authorities and government agencies in agriculture-related projects is an advantage.
4. Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects in a collaborative environment.
5. Ability to work independently, handle stress, and manage projects according to deadlines.
6. Knowledge of durians is a significant advantage and priority.

Location Requirement:

This position is based in Junjung, Kulim and Sg Pinang, Balik Pulau. Candidate must be willing and able to work in above mentioned location.
