DSA / DENTAL ASSISTANT / DENTAL NURSE

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DSA / Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our talented team at TAG Dental Clinic in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a fulltime member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of vision
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments and equipment for dental procedures
• Providing chairside assistance to dentists, including taking X-rays, impressions, and other diagnostic tests
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and providing post-operative instructions
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensuring the dental clinic is clean, well-stocked, and organised at all times
• Handling front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries

What we're looking for

• Formal training or qualification as a Dental Surgery Assistant, Dental Assistant, or Dental Nurse
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, dentists, and the wider team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using dental equipment and technology
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care
