About the role

As the Document Control Assistant, Research & Development at Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the company's important research and development documentation. This full-time position is based in Gurun, Kedah, providing an opportunity to contribute to the success of this leading automotive manufacturer.

What you'll be doing

1. Organising and maintaining the company's research and development records and documents
2. Ensuring all R&D documentation is properly filed, indexed and easily retrievable
3. Providing administrative support for the R&D team, including document distribution, scanning, and archiving
4. Assisting with the development and implementation of document control procedures and protocols
5. Coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient information flow and document management
6. Performing regular audits to verify the integrity and completeness of the document control system

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a document control or records management role, preferably within a technical or engineering environment
2. Strong organisation and attention to detail skills, with the ability to maintain meticulous records
3. Proficient in using document management software and Microsoft Office applications
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
5. A keen interest in the automotive industry and the research and development process
